John David is a native of Prattville, Alabama, and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from The University of Alabama. He is an Associate with Founders Investment Banking where he underwrites, structures and executes investment real estate opportunities on behalf of private equity sources. In addition to the Phoenix Club, John David serves as a volunteer with the Birmingham Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and Mountain Brook Athletics. He enjoys many outdoor sports, Alabama football and cooking.
Hawley_profile Brad Hawley, Vice President of Membership
Brad Hawley was raised in Cullman, AL and graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in International Business. Soon after graduation, he moved to Washington, DC where he worked at the Corporate Executive Board, a corporate strategy research firm. After many years he transitioned to a role with CPA Global, which is the world’s largest intellectual property management company. He currently works for CPA as a Global Account Manager, partnering with patent and trademark attorneys around the world. He met his wife, Ellen, a native of Birmingham, in DC and they now reside in Homewood. When not traveling or taking care of a newborn son, Brad likes to spend his time on the golf course, on his bike, or on a snowboard.
Chapman_profile Tom Chapman, Assistant to the VPs of Membership and Programs

Tom grew up in Anniston, AL where he attended The Donoho School. He went on to Auburn University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in finance and marketing. Tom has been a financial consultant with AXA Advisors, LLC since 2004 and in 2007 became a Divisional Vice President. In addition to working with his own clients, Tom is responsible for managing a group of other financial professionals. Tom is also a member of the Birmingham Venture Club and the Anniston Rotary Club.
Quattlebaum_profile Wes Quattlebaum, Treasurer

Wes is a native of Ozark, Alabama, and graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is a Business Banker with First Commercial Bank where he manages and develops commercial and small business relationships with companies located in the greater Birmingham area. Wes spends his time out of the office playing golf, fishing, and grilling.
Tyler O’Connor, Vice President of Programs

Orginally from Savannah, Georgia, Tyler moved to Birmingham in 2008. He is employed with CRC Insurance Services, Inc., the nation’s largest wholesale insurance broker, based locally here in Birmingham. Before joining CRC, Tyler worked in campaign politics, managing races at the Presidential, U.S. Senatorial, and U.S. Congressional levels. He attended Auburn University and is married to the former Maggie Carter of Birmingham.

JT received a B.A. degree from Auburn University in 2003 and a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2006. JT is currently a transactional lawyer at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C.
Barrett 2 Barrett Oakley, Co-Vice President of Events

Barrett is a native of Florence, Alabama and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. He is the Vice President and Broker for The Oakley Group, Incorporated located in Birmingham. He is currently holding candidate status to become a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Barrett has over 8 years of experience in commercial real estate specializing in multi-family apartment properties. In his spare time Barrett enjoys golfing, Alabama football, and spending time with his wife, the former Lexie Lloyd of Huntsville, and their English bulldog, Sam.

Tyler Kime works as a sales consultant for Standard Heating and Air Conditioning Company Inc. which provides cooling, heating, and plumbing services to residential and light commercial customers in the Birmingham/Jefferson county area. He was born and raised in Birmingham and graduated from Auburn University with B.S. in finance in 2003. He currently lives in Vestavia Hills with his wife Jenni.
